Keyonte George Serves As Media Correspondent At Finals

Before the third game of the NBA Finals, player Keyonte George of the Utah Jazz had the chance to speak with Kyrie Irving, Dereck Lively, and Jrue Holiday.

As a media journalist for the NBA on social media, George is in Dallas for the game between the Boston Celtics and Dallas Mavericks.

As the teams addressed the media in advance of Wednesday’s game three, the Jazz guard arrived in Dallas on Tuesday.

George, who was watching Kyrie Irving’s media roundtable, questioned the Mavericks All-Star about how he tunes out outside noise before starting a 48-minute basketball game.

Irving stated, “It begins with being aware of your own goals and what you want to accomplish.” “Your team’s objectives, how you can contribute to achieving them, and what will give you comfort when you leave the court.”

George was one of five young NBA players who were given the chance to cover the NBA Finals.

Jabari Smith Jr. of Houston covered game one, Amen and Ausar Thompson of Golden State covered game two, and Brandin Podziemski of Golden State will cover game four.

George made light of the fact that Jrue Holiday’s birthday coincided with game three, asking the seasoned guard where he would focus during the contest.

“You gotta chill, bro,” Holiday responded. “I’m thinking about the game. Birthdays are fun though, but it would be a cool present to win.”

Finally, George got to catch up with fellow 2023 first-round pick Dereck Lively who acknowledged the Jazz guard’s All-Rookie season.

“Let’s not blow past the fact that my man is holding it down in Utah,” Lively said.
