This summer, Unai Emery will gladly let go of the £15 million Aston Villa defender.
Although Aston Vila has had their finest season in a while, the summer is starting to seem a little
dismal. In fact, it appears as though Villa will soon be selling Douglas Luiz, one of their greatest
players, and another key player may follow.
Another Italian powerhouse, AC Milan, is reportedly after Matty Cash. Dean Jones, in an interview
with the Ranks FC Ultras Podcast, claims that Unai Emery is pleased to let Cash go this summer.
Unai Emery happy to let Matty Cash go
Jones revealed to Emery his thoughts on the full-back and what he knows about the £15 million
player.”A lot is happening right now. Matty Cash is probably going to leave, and I know Unai
Emery is glad to have him go,” Jones remarked.Aston Villa is set to have a fantastic summer.
Cash appears to be leaving, Luiz is expected to go, and Jhon Duran is also said to be moving.
That is a potential three-figure departure, which is not good for a team trying to get things going.
Of course, the Luiz to Juventus agreement includes two possible new players, but there are other concerns that need to be resolved.
Aston Villa has a significant season ahead of them; playing in the Champions League will present a
fresh challenge, and having so many games might hurt their league performance.
At the close of the previous season, Villa seemed to be in a terrific position to push forward and
contend for the title, but these summertime rumors indicate that Unai Emery’s team may perhaps r
egress this year.
