As the former Rangers star submits a transfer request to Nottingham Forest, Ange Postecoglou throws a salute to a Celtic player.
Up-to-date rumors and news on Celtic and Rangers transfers as they get ready for the next Scottish Premiership season
This previous season, Celtic won the Scottish Premiership once more, and they will be looking to do it again in the 2024–2025 campaign.
The Scottish Cup was also taken by them. Rangers, on the other hand, lost to their competitors but won the Viaplay Cup.
With the transfer window currently open for business, both parties have the opportunity to add some fresh faces. In light of that, let’s take a look at some recent rumors and news.
Former Celtic boss on the bandwagon
Ange Postecoglou, the former Celtic manager, has said that he is rooting for Scotland as they prepare to play Hungary in the Euro 2024 tournament. If Steve Clarke’s team is to advance from their group, they must triumph.
Brendan Rodgers took Postecoglou’s spot as an ITV tournament analyst when he departed Celtic Park for Tottenham Hotspur the previous season.
“I have to admit, I am on the Scotland bandwagon,” he declared. Since I worked at Celtic for a few years, I have followed them.
Their first game was a complete loss for them. It’s never easy to play the hosts in the opening match of the tournament; things may go either way and they can be anxious. However, it was evident that Germany was soaring high. That’s arguably the most submissive I’ve seen the Scottish squad in a while.
Defender latest
According to The Sunday Mirror, Scott McKenna, a Scotland international, is also on the move, while Nottingham Forest is attempting to get rid of former Rangers loan player Joe Worrall.
After a loan spell at Besiktas in 2018, Worrall spent a time at Ibrox and wants to stay in England. He is opposed to transferring overseas once more. McKenna, meanwhile, is probably going to leave Forest and sign with FC Copenhagen.
