According to Gary Washburn of The Boston Globe, Jaylen Brown, a standout for the Celtics, discussed the team’s prospects for the upcoming campaign:
“I believe we have a chance. “I think we have a window, for sure,” reiterated Jaylen Brown. “We approach things day by day. It is imperative that we maintain our health. However, we’ll savor the summer and the present before returning to it the next year.
You have to like their chances if Brown performs as well as he did for the Celtics in the semifinals. With his lockdown defense of Mavericks phenom Luka Doncic in the Eastern Conference Finals and the NBA Finals, Brown achieved complete superstardom. Against Dallas, he also scored 20.8 points per game on average for Boston.
Brown also discussed taking home a championship with his longtime partner Jayson Tatum, according to Washburn:Just our mutual development. We’ve experienced a great deal. We have now been performing as a group for seven years. We have experienced several losses and high aspirations.
