NFL players receive inadequate compensation- DeShon Elliott
The NFL commissioner has frequently discussed the possibility of an 18-game schedule in the past year, pointing to the addition of a regular season match to the already expansive NFL regular season and the reduction of three preseason games to two.
DeShon Elliott, a safety for the Pittsburgh Steelers, is against adding another game, arguing that players already receive insufficient compensation.
Elliott claimed that “they’re not paying us enough money already,” according to ESPN’s Brooke Pryor. They want to force us to play eighteen games since they are frugal with our money. We should receive far more money as a player union than we do. not only the best men, either. The problem is, they’re not actually playing football outside. They aren’t risking their lives by rushing about here. They don’t give a damn. Their only concern is making money, but in order to generate profits at the top, there must also be profits at the bottom.
Three seasons ago, the NFL boosted its schedule by going from 16 games to 17 in 2021.
