Breaking News :Dallas Keuchel, a former White Sox pitcher, is going to the Brewers
After being dealt to the Milwaukee Brewers, former Chicago White Sox pitcher Dallas Keuchel reportedly found a new home.
Before the 2024 season began, Keuchel inked a minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners, although he had not yet made an appearance in the major leagues this year.
Tuesday afternoon, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic broke the news of the deal, which sent Keuchel to Milwaukee in return for monetary considerations:
This season, Keuchel has made 13 starts for the Mariners’ Triple-A club in Tacoma, where he has a 7-4 record. However, he hasn’t pitched at the major league level. In 71 innings pitched, he has a 3.93 ERA with 45 strikeouts and 22 walks.
With a 4.02 ERA and a 193-92 record in MLB, Keuchel won the Cy Young Award in 2015 while playing for the Houston Astros.
Before the 2020 campaign, Keuchel signed a contract with the White Sox. During his three seasons with the South Siders, he made 51 appearances overall, going 17-16 with a 4.79 ERA.
The Brewers will be taking on the Chicago Cubs over the weekend at American Family Field, with the series getting underway on Friday.
