There are rumors about Odd Mitch Marner during Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Final.

The NHL likely doesn’t want much outside action between teams on the last day of the NHL season with Game 7 taking place on Monday

night and the Stanley Cup being awarded to either the Florida Panthers or Edmonton Oilers. That doesn’t mean rumors won’t surface.

An odd one about Mitch Marner made the rounds on Monday afternoon, and it picked up steam hours before the game.

The news that the Maple Leafs are not interested in signing Mitch Marner to a new contract was first reported by Frank Seravalli. Regarding what will happen to the player and the team in Toronto after he maybe plays out the remaining games on his present deal, there have been conflicting rumors.

Seravalli has maintained that a trade is the most likely outcome despite suggestions from other reporters that keeping the player and signing him is still a possibility. If a deal were to occur, Seravalli said that it would probably take place this week. “I believe the Toronto Maple Leafs will exert every effort to try and make something happen.”

Was Utah the recipient of Marner’s trade?

The Toronto Maple Leafs’ Mitch Marner intends to play through the 2024–25 NHL season. Although no well-known hockey insiders are

expressing the same opinion, this does not imply that a deal is not being discussed between the two parties. The move of Marner to Utah

would be too huge to ignore, even though it could be considered a touch taboo to announce major news on

the same day as the Stanley Cup Final is awarded. However, for some reason, the post has started to spread, and many people are

inquiring as to its veracity.

Marner has not yet been dealt to the Utah Hockey Club, and there is no proof that Utah and Toronto have ever discussed a deal.

It’s critical to keep in mind that Marner is free to go wherever he pleases and has a complete no-move clause.
