BREAKING NEWS :Ja Morant Reacts Hilariously To Playing With Zach Edey
Zach Edey, a former center for Purdue, is quite tall. At 7 feet 4 inches, his size is almost unbelievable.
The Memphis Grizzlies chose the two-time reigning National Player of the Year with the ninth
overall choice in the 2024 NBA Draft, putting his name in the top 10.
That came as a significant surprise because most predictions have him playing until his mid-teens at
the worst, with the possibility that he would play well into his 20s.
He will now play with legendary Memphis guard Ja Morant. After receiving a lengthy ban for his
behavior off the court in 2023–2024, Morant suffered a permanent damage to his shoulder, which
ended his season. The 24-year-old was only able to play in nine games overall.
However, the Grizzlies remain a strong competitor in the West as long as Zach Edey is available, and
he should mesh well in the frontcourt with Jaren Jackson Jr.
When the draft began, I’m sure Ja Morant didn’t anticipate Zach Edey to be his teammate, but the
Murray State alumnus had a funny reaction when he did.
Check out the content he shared on his Instagram story.
Yes, it makes perfect sense. What an amazing meme.
In the NBA, Zach Edey would undoubtedly raise some serious concerns, particularly with regard to
his defense. His lack of agility makes it difficult for him to contain guards on ball screens, which will
be a liability.
