Angel Reese Makes Her Opinion Of Playing With Caitlin Clark Unmistakably Clear Despite Backlash

During the 2024 WNBA All-Star game in Phoenix, Arizona, fans finally got to see Chicago Sky forward Angel Reese and Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark take the court together for the first time.

The two talented rookies have had a huge rivalry since their college days with the LSU Tigers and Iowa Hawkeyes. Reese and Clark set aside their differences for the weekend so that fans could witness the highly anticipated team-up.

On Friday, just one day before the All-Star game, Reese made a comment about playing with Clark that received major backlash from some fans.

“Everybody can wear their get-along shirts for one day at least. I know a lot of people are gonna come and watch us. There’s an awful lot of talent within both rosters.”

Despite this initial comment, Reese had a different point of view on playing with her rival during an in-game interview with ESPN at the major event.

“It’s so cool. I know when she gets the ball, I’m running to look for the ball because I know she’s gonna throw it. She’s been great to play with,” Reese said.

Reese and Clark have faced each other five times since their 2023 title game in college. Clark has a 3-2 advantage over Reese, but Reese got the last laugh after the Sky won their most recent game against the Fever.
