“Interesting story” | Manchester United and West Ham face a defensive conundrum
The right-back positions that West Ham and
Manchester United are in present a special
challenge. It seems sense that a lot of supporters
were upset that West Ham was unable to sign
Ben Johnson to a long-term contract. He made an
impression and shown versatility that very few
people were aware he possessed last season
despite having few opportunities. The team
urgently needs to sign some competition for
Vladimir Coufal as a result of his leaving.
The Hammers have long admired Aaron Wan-
Bissaka, but it appears that they are now willing
to sign him provided they can work out a
favorable deal with Manchester United. In
addition to him, they both respect Mazraoui of
Bayern Munich, Dharemsh Sheth, a buddy of The
West Ham Way, said Sky Sports. They are
rumored to have discussed the possible signing
with Bayern Munich, and their assessment is
seen to be reasonable. It’s interesting to see that
Man United is thinking about signing Mazraoui.
Given that Dalot has had a fantastic two of
campaigns, it would seem that they anticipate
the Englishman leaving this summer..
The Red Devils may sign the Moroccan if the
Irons sign Wan-Bissaka, and vice versa. But
there’s also a potential that none of these things
occur because West Ham choose to go with
someone other than the United player or signs
Mazraoui. In any case, it will be an intriguing
story to follow and hopefully one that benefits
our Irons.
