For the entirety of his playing career, Stephen

Curry has stated that he wishes to stay with the

Golden State Warriors. It is reasonable to

wonder, though, if things would still stand the

same if the Warriors weren’t in the running.

How committed was Curry to finishing his career

with the Warriors? the question was posed to

him in an interview with Marc J. Spears of

Andscape. Curry might be happy to end his one-

team career on a non-competitive club, Spears

pointed out, given that players like Dirk Nowitzki

and Kobe Bryant did the same. It is difficult, don’t

you think? I’ve always declared my desire to live

a life as a warrior. I think that’s feasible at this

point in my career,” Curry remarked. And just

because you’re still competitive doesn’t mean

you’ll win the title. It does not imply success.

Although you are clearly practical, winning is

always the top priority. Staying the course does

not guarantee that it will occur. In order to adapt

to the current state of the league and the current

positions of some of these excellent clubs, you

need to change things up and continuously

rethink what it looks like. To put it another way,

let’s simply say that if you find yourself in a

circumstance where you’re a bottom feeder and

it’s because I would find it difficult to accept your

desire to remain there. However, I don’t believe

that will actually happen. Curry turned 36 in

March, but his shooting is still razor-sharp.

What’s evolving, though, is his supporting group.

The only surviving members of the team’s

championship core are Curry and Draymond

Green after Klay Thompson left for the Dallas

Mavericks during the offseason. The squad

barely qualified for the play-in round even with

Thompson, and they didn’t go any farther. It’s

obvious that the Warriors want to continue being

competitive for as long as possible. Curry has a

two-year contract that is obviously linked to head

coach Steve Kerr’s. Thus, depending  on where

the Warriors are as a franchise, but for now, the

future Hall-of-Famer is happy with how things

are going.
