Caitlin Clark has had a difficult week following her literal knockdown during a WNBA game and her announcement
that she will not be competing in the Olympics. She was about to suffer more as one of her pals disregarded her
despite being the greatest leader she had ever worked with.
Kate Martin wasn’t impressed with the Indiana Fever star, despite the fact that she is well-known for leading by
example by consistently making baskets on the floor and reaching out to players for encouragement when things
aren’t going well.
Despite just spending a brief period of time with the Las Vegas Aces, Martin—who grew close to Clark while playing
for the Iowa Hawkeyes—selected A’ja Wilson as the best leader she has ever worked with.
Martin reportedly remarked, “You know I’m sitting next to the best player in the world,” according to Summer DC.
“And not only is she the best player in the world, but she’s also the best leader I’ve ever been around.”
