The Mavs and Minnesota Timberwolves will meet again for a Christmas Day rematch of their Western Conference Finals matchup, according to a report by The Athletic’s Shams Charania. It will be one of five games on the NBA’s Christmas Day slate, the Mavericks’ Finals opponent (Boston) also in action on Christmas. See the other four games below.

-San Antonio Spurs at New York Knicks

-Philadelphia 76ers at Boston Celtics

-Los Angeles Lakers at Golden State Warriors

NBA Finals rematches

Shams Charania reported that the Mavericks will unofficially rematch their NBA Finals foe, the Boston Celtics, on two occasions: Jan. 25 in Dallas and Feb. 6 in Boston. With Thompson’s added firepower and other offseason moves, the Mavericks will hope for a better outcome than the gentleman’s sweep they were subjected to in the Finals.
