Doctor Report: Following surgery for an elbow injury, Kyle Hamilton will miss the season.

Due to elbow surgery, standout safety Kyle Hamilton will be absent for the foreseeable future as the Baltimore Ravens get ready for the 2024 season. However, he should recover in time for the season to begin.

Head coach John Harbaugh assured reporters on Tuesday that Kyle will be prepared. “They just pulled out the loose corpses that Kyle had in his elbow. It will thus take two to three weeks.”

According to Harbaugh, not only will Hamilton be prepared for the season, but the safety will also be ready by training camp.

That it is only a minor setback for the 23-year-old is welcome news for the Ravens.

After all, he is coming off a dominant season that saw him named to the First Team All-Pro and Pro Bowl with 81 tackles, 13 passes defended, four interceptions, three sacks, one forced fumble and one defensive touchdown.

It was just the second season of his career, but he already proved himself as one of the best safeties in the league and a defensive leader for a Super Bowl contender in the Ravens. Baltimore finished with the best record in the NFL at 13-4 last season and reached the AFC Championship Game.

With a healthy Hamilton leading the defensive effort from the center of the secondary, the club undoubtedly hopes to advance and win the Super Bowl in the forthcoming season.

Thankfully for the Ravens and the safety, it doesn’t appear that this specific setback will be a problem when they hit the field on September 5 for the season opener and repeat of the AFC Championship Game against the Kansas City Chiefs.
