Former Bull Returning to Chicago as Coach for 24-25 Season

The departure of seasoned players DeMar DeRozan and Alex Caruso this summer marked the beginning of a new chapter for the Chicago Bulls. The Bulls are in rebuilding mode as the season gets underway, despite the inability to find new homes for other starters like Zach Lavine and Nikola Vucevic. The stars of the 2024–25 Bulls—who, for the first time in a few years, do not have postseason hopes—will be rookie Matas Buzelis, Josh Giddey, and rising star Coby White.

They continued to work with head coach Billy Donovan, though. Despite the team putting the playoffs ahead of their future, the seasoned head coach, who is into his fifth season in Chicago, has only made one participation in the postseason

Donovan may surprisingly still be around but the rest of the staff has gone through some changes. The most recent hire to the organization is a familiar face for Bulls fans. Former Bull E’Twaun Moore is joining the team as a scout, according to NBC Sports Chicago’s K.C. Johnson.
