Even though Jared Goff was only one game away from competing for a Super Bowl ring, this summer he will still receive some jewelry.

The quarterback for the Detroit Lions proposed to Christen Harper, a model for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, in June 2022. Harper had recently returned from a bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas.

“We’re right in the thick of the wedding planning right now, and she had a great time on her bachelorette [party] with her friends,” Goff said on Thursday to the New York Post.

Goff acknowledges that Harper has a lot more to do with it than he does.

This summer, it will happen. We’re thrilled,” he remarked. “She’s been handling it really well. I haven’t been really involved. But if you ask, I’ll share my opinions.

However, she’s done an amazing job organizing things for both the wedding and the daily life. She has duties to do almost every day.”Goff has far less worry organizing a wedding.

“The enjoyable things include the food, beverages, music, and everything else. “I have undoubtedly contributed to that,” he remarked.

Similar to Goff, Harper’s modeling career has taken off.

“It’s been fun to see her thrive in that now,” added Goff. “When she first applied, it was outside of her comfort zone. She completed the swim search and was eventually selected. The year’s rookie was her.

Seeing her find comfort on that stage and develop her voice in that way has been enjoyable and very amazing. I am aware of her many goals and her desire to assist others. She also has a strong love for animals, therefore she also wants to help them. For that greater goal, all of this has been beneficial.
