NBA Trade Rumors: Five Potential All-Stars Spurs should exchange their top-10 choice in the draft for
The San Antonio Spurs are a club to watch since they are among the teams that many believe will be willing to make a significant move during the NBA summer as the 2024 NBA Draft approaches. San Antonio may have some alternatives this summer with salary room, movable players, and an abundance of potential first-round picks. To be more precise, the Spurs have the option to trade for a future All-Star with one or both of their top 10 selections in the NBA Draft.
Some players may already be on the Spurs’ radar if that’s the route they’d like to pursue rather than taking a chance on this untested NBA Draft class. This post will list the five future All-Stars the Spurs should consider if they are prepared to give up one of their top 10 draft selections.
Dyson Daniels is a guy who the Spurs should keep an eye on, even if he hasn’t been able to contribute much with the New Orleans Pelicans thus far. You can’t help but wonder whether he could start to grow a little bit more in a larger part. He’s been stranded in the backcourt in New Orleans behind Brandon Ingram and C.J. McCollum.
He did, however, occasionally display brief bursts of extraordinary promise. Trading Daniels and another component for the eighth overall selection in exchange may be a risk worth taking if the Spurs think they can get the most out of him.
