It was a storybook ending to a rather unique high school football career for Marshall Pritchett. The Alabama commit scored two touchdowns, including one on his final reception of the season, to help Rabun Gap (Ga.) win a state championship on Friday night. Not bad for someone who “never thought” he would be in this position.
Next up for Pritchett? Pen to paper to play football at the University of Alabama next month and a plan to move onto campus in time to participate in bowl practice. A return to Tuscaloosa for the Iron Bowl (Nov. 30) remains a possibility as well, which would mark his third game visit this season (Georgia, Missouri) and second since flipping his commitment from North Carolina to Alabama in late October.
