Georgia football has another extremely talented corner already in their 2026 recruiting class.
Georgia football has had an amazing stretch in recruiting recently as the 2025 cycle is winding down. Two weeks ago, Kirby Smart landed three commits on back-to-back-to-back days. Fast forward to this weekend and Georgia hosted more elite recruits than anyone could count during their win over Tennessee.
Then on Sunday, Georgia earned another commitment for their 2026 class. So after a big win on the field and multiple wins on the recruiting trail, it is safe to say that Georgia is humming right now.
But on top of all of this, one recruit already committed to Georgia just saw themselves become the No. 1 corner in the state of Georgia on On3.
4-star CB Jontavius Wyman
Four-star corner Jontavius Wyman has just shot up the rankings on On3, so much so that he is now the No. 1 corner from the state of Georgia in the 2026 class. On top of that, On3 has Wyman as the No. 110 overall player in the country as well as the No. 11 corner in the country and No. 13 ranked player from Georgia.
Wyman is one of the three members of the Bulldogs’ 2026 recruiting class, which also includes four-star wide receiver Vance Spafford and three-star tight end Lincoln Keyes. It is still early for this class, but these three players give Georgia the No. 12 overall class in the country according to 247Sports.
The 2026 cycle has a long way to go before these rankings are all said and done. But that just means that Wyman, along with every other Georgia commit, has that much more time to work their way up these rankings.
Hopefully that is what happens, beause it goes without saying how important it is to bring in elite talent every single recruiting class. And so far Wyman is doing his part to continue that tradition at Georgia.
