SAD NEWS: Michigan Football Will Lose a 5-star Captain as he Announce to Leave For Next Season…Read More…

Michigan football finished the 2024 season with an 8-5 record, capping off the year with wins over Ohio State and Alabama in back-to-back games.

The Wolverines’ strong finish has inspired hope for better days in coach Sherrone Moore’s second season with the program, especially considering the players he is bringing in, and bringing back, to Ann Arbor with him. On Wednesday one of the Wolverines’ unsung heroes, fullback Max Bredeson, made a decision on his future with the program.

Widely known for his pancake blocks just past the line of scrimmage, Bredeson was immortalized in a viral social media of him having taken out Ohio State star Jack Sawyer with a crushing block.

Bredeson announced that he will return to Ann Arbor for his final season, sharing a highlight video with the classic Ozzy Osbourne song ‘War Pigs’ as the soundtrack. “Team 146 let’s do it,” Bredeson wrote. “Go blue.”

Bredeson is mostly used as a blocker on offense. He plays fullback with H-back and a bit of tight end sprinkled in.

A native of Hartland, Wisconsin, Bredeson has 10 catches for 121 yards in three seasons with the Wolverines, and has not recorded a carry as a runner yet.
