Denver Broncos quarterback Bo Nix has been nominated for the NFL’s Rookie of the Year award, capping a remarkable debut season. Selected 12th overall in the 2024 NFL Draft, Nix quickly became the Broncos’ starting quarterback, the first rookie to do so since John Elway in 1983.

Throughout the season, Nix demonstrated exceptional skill and poise, leading all rookie quarterbacks in completions, passing yards, touchdown passes, and total touchdowns. His 29 touchdown passes rank second among rookies in NFL history.

Nix’s performance earned him multiple accolades, including NFL Offensive Rookie of the Month for October. He also secured Rookie of the Week honors three times, becoming the first player in Broncos history to win the award in three consecutive weeks.

Under Nix’s leadership, the Broncos achieved their first playoff berth since 2015, finishing the regular season with a 10-7 record. In a decisive Week 18 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, Nix completed 26 of 29 passes for 321 yards and four touchdowns, clinching the postseason spot.

Nix’s nomination for Rookie of the Year places him among notable contenders, including Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Bucky Irving, Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels, Las Vegas Raiders tight end Brock Bowers, New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers, and Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Brian Thomas Jr.

Fans can participate in the voting process by visiting the NFL’s official website. Nix’s impressive rookie campaign has not only revitalized the Broncos’ offense but also established him as a promising talent in the league’s future.
