NFL Draft Expert predicts Georgia will set a record at the 2025 NFL Draft

The 2025 NFL Draft might feel far off, but time will fly by quickly in the coming months. While the draft doesn’t directly involve the University of Georgia, it’s always exciting to follow, especially since Georgia football consistently ranks among the top schools in terms of players selected.

This year’s draft will be no exception. Although Kirby Smart’s team likely won’t break the record for the most players drafted from a single school—set by Georgia with 15 selections in the 2022 Draft—they still have a chance to make history by setting a different record later this summer

.As noted, Georgia has a tradition of breaking records and delivering standout performances at the NFL Draft each year. However, if these three projected picks become a reality, Georgia would achieve something unprecedented:

having three defensive players from the same school selected this early in the same draft.

It wouldn’t be shocking to see Georgia achieve this milestone, given how strong their defense was this past season.

The real surprise is that Georgia hasn’t accomplished this feat before now.

Many would argue that their defenses in recent years were even better than this past season’s, yet even those units couldn’t reach this milestone.

Georgia will have to wait a few months to find out if they can set this record, but with the talent these players possess, no one should be surprised if they do.
