4-star legacy recruit schedule visit to Georgia

Georgia football and head coach Kirby Smart pursue over 100 players each recruiting cycle. However, certain prospects always draw more attention for various reasons.

Some are among the nation’s top recruits, while others have strong family ties to the program. These standout names are often closely followed by Georgia fans.

In this case, the buzz surrounds a legacy recruit who has scheduled an official visit with the Bulldogs—and whose brother is already on Georgia’s roster.

Carter Luckie, a four-star defensive lineman from Norcross, GA, is ranked No. 254 overall in the nation, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He is also listed as the No. 32 defensive lineman in the 2026 class and the No. 31 player in Georgia.

Given his talent, many programs are likely interested in recruiting Luckie.

However, the chances of him choosing any school other than Georgia are slim. The reason? His deep-rooted family ties and history with Georgia football.
