Kaizer Chiefs have made significant strides in strengthening their squad under the leadership of head coach Nasreddine Nabi. In a recent announcement, the club confirmed the acquisition of two key players: Njabulo Blom and Bradley Cross.

Njabulo Blom, a versatile 24-year-old player, rejoins Kaizer Chiefs on a one-year loan deal from Major League Soccer’s St. Louis City FC. Blom began his professional journey with Chiefs’ youth development academy and was promoted to the senior team in 2019. In January 2023, he ventured to the United States to further his career with St. Louis City. Expressing his enthusiasm about returning, Blom stated, “I am delighted to be back at Kaizer Chiefs, a club that holds a special place in my heart. I look forward to working with the team and contributing to our success under Coach Nasreddine Nabi. The support from the fans has always motivated me, and I can’t wait to play in front of the Khosi nation again.”

Sporting Director Kaizer Motaung Jr. emphasized the value Blom brings to the squad, noting, “We are excited to welcome Njabulo back to the team. His experience in the MLS and his familiarity with our club ethos make him a valuable addition to our squad. We look forward to seeing his impact on the field because we know how valuable he is to our game model.”

In addition to Blom, Kaizer Chiefs have secured the services of 23-year-old defender Bradley Cross from Golden Arrows. Cross, who has experience playing for Schalke 04’s Under-19 team in Germany and Newcastle United’s Under-21s in England, has signed a four-year deal with Amakhosi. Motaung Jr. expressed confidence in Cross’s potential impact, stating, “Bradley’s signing aligns with our strategic vision of continuing to strengthen our team and get ready to compete when the season starts. We are confident that his addition will bring a new level of energy, international experience, and skill to our squad. We look forward to seeing him in action and contributing to our success.”

Cross himself conveyed his excitement, saying, “I am honoured to be part of such a prestigious club. I am ready to give my best and help Kaizer Chiefs achieve their goals and objectives.”
