at 1-6 in SEC Play. Not only did the LSU Basketball team lose the game but, the Texas Longhorns poured it on LSU. The loss pushes LSU to 12-9ontheseason and 1-7 in SEC play and now any chance of making the NCAA Tournament seems far out of reac
- The Tigers entered the half only trailing 31-26 but, the score didn’t tell the story of the first half. The first half felt all Texas as theLonghorns kept taking big leads while LSU was trying to chip away any way they could. Texasdominated the Tigers on the glass in the first half but, a few good stretches of defense by LSU kept it closer than it felt.
The second half, the Longhorns finally started to make their shots while the defense wiped out LSU’s offense. The Longhorns keptfinding open look after open look from three while it felt like LSU needed everything to right to score. The Longhorns made 10 of 21 three-point attempts and when LSU only makes 2 of 15 t’s impossible to win.
