Fans Lose Their Marbles Over Cooper Flagg’s Insane Dunk vs. Top Ranked Kansas…Read More…

Cooper Flagg and the No. 11 Duke Blue Devils took on Hunter Dickinson and top-ranked Kansas Tuesday night, during which the action got hot and heavy in the second half of a close-fought contest between the two college basketball blue bloods.

The Jayhawks jumped out to a 41-39 lead over the Devils at halftime before turning things up a notch in the second half. Duke rallied to within two points, trailing 61-59, when college basketball fans nationwide witnessed the play of the young season so far from the top ranked college basketball recruit Flagg, who hails from Newport, Maine.

With the Jayhawks leading 61-59, the Duke guard set a pick for teammate Kon Knueppel at the top of the key. He then rolled toward the basket and got a pass from Knueppel as he slipped past two Jayhawks defenders.

What followed was a thunderous one-hand slam that had fans going crazy on X.

“Whoa. That was nice looking like MJ,” another fan added. Not everyone was impressed with Flagg, who scored 13 points on the night, two short of Tyrese Proctor for the team lead.

“It’s cool Draymond blocking that when he in the league,” another fan said of the 6-foot-9 Flagg’s dunk. Dajaun Harris Jr. led Kansas with 14 points and nine assists in a 75-72 win, but fans could not stop talking about Flagg’s show of athleticism and skill.

“He did him dirty!! Nasty dunk!” another fan said with a flexing arm emoji.

“Best player in the NCAA! Best player since LeBron James!” another fan added.
