BREAKING NEWS: Everton target Aston Villa is “plotting move” as Leicester City’s fate is decided.
Everton is apparently vying with Aston Villa for the services of a Leicester City attacker. The Villans are considering a move for Kelechi
Iheanacho as they enter the striker market. Current option Jhon Duran is anticipated to depart for Chelsea in a £40 million deal.
The Nigerian international, who will become a free agency at the end of June and has not signed a new contract with Leicester, has
presented a chance. The Foxes have made every effort to persuade Iheanacho to stay, but he has turned down every offer, which may have
sealed his fate—at least in his mind—after seeing how little game time he had last term.
According to Football Insider, Villa is monitoring Iheanacho’s circumstances and has already communicated with the player’s
representation. Prior to the Villans’ semi-final loss to Olympiacos in the UEFA Europa Conference League, there is rumor that a meeting
in Greece sparked talks about a possible Villa Park transfer.
However, Everton and Newcastle United have been linked over the previous two weeks, so there is fierce rivalry elsewhere in the Premier League.
Considering how uncommon it is for a player of Iheanacho’s caliber to go unpaid, it may come down to a three-team battle for his signature. Villa in particular have to exercise caution when it comes to their summer transfer activity since they have to abide by the stringent profit and sustainability standards (PSR) of the Premier League. Although c’s transfer to Juventus and Duran’s high price sale will help, Unai Emery still has a limited budget.
Iheanacho’s shift to a villa makes sense.
Iheanacho wouldn’t cost you a dime, therefore signing him could be a very wise decision. Following his 2017 transfer from Manchester
City, the 27-year-old has made 232 appearances for Leicester, scoring 61 goals and dishing out 34 assists.Aston Villa and Everton may be

In 25 Premier League games, he scored 12 goals in 2020–21, which was his greatest season. His most recent year was quite dismal; in 23
Championship appearances, he only managed five goals, spending the majority of his time as a substitute.Ollie Watkins is undoubtedly
Villa’s first choice, so Iheanacho would still have to cope with less playing time, but opportunities from Champions League play would
present themselves. There would probably be rotation as well, similar to what was observed with Duran.
