Perry, a standout freshman, had a significant impact on the game, contributing crucial points and showing maturity beyond his years. “Travis is a special player,” Pope said. “He’s got an incredible work ethic and the kind of mindset that can elevate not just himself, but the whole team. His poise under pressure tonight was exactly what we needed.”
